Norwich Bulletin 2007 parade preview
Celebrate the Fourth of July in style
The parade’s grand marshall, WILI-AM personality Wayne Norman, said the event is the only one of its kind.
“I try to do something that’s over the top to start the parade, which hopefully inspires others to try creative things,” Norman said.
Norman said he’s seen the number of marchers increase in the last few years, and the popularity of the event continues to grow. Parade watchers should bring radios to enjoy the music broadcast over WILI-AM’s airwaves throughout the event.
“It’s the perfect parade for Independence Day — thousands of people expressing their independence,” Norman said.
